super yummy healthy cookies – cherry, oat and banana

Whole Food Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup Organic apple sauce
3 ripe bananas
1 cup dried organic cherries or dates/raisins or even dried blueberries
2 tbsp MINI dark choc chips  (can use vegan )  or leave out if you prefer
1 tsp vanilla – I did NOT use.. I used MINI  chips instead
In a large bowl, mash bananas first (I use a potato masher) then add in other ingredients and mix well.

preheat oven to 375 and spoon out teaspoonfuls on to an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 mins or until just brown.. Let cool entirely before trying to take off cookie sheet.. ENJOY !
Create a great day !

  1. I’m about to put these in the oven. The mix isn’t really sticking together. Is this ok? Will the cookies form when baked?

    1. not sure what you mean not sticking together.. its shouldnt be ‘soupy’.. you should have little mounds of oats and banana clusters.. I usually form in a ball then press down .. they will not bake down so where they are on the pan is how they will be.. its not dough.. just oats.. I hpe you like them.. btw.. let them sit on the pan /tray and cool before trying to remove.. and I keep them in the fridge.. just how I like them.. just made a batch yesterday.. two batches actually.. I froze some for easter baskets.. enjoy..
