its just a respect thing…

I can’t recall exactly when it started… I think it was a conversation with my dad, when I was 11 or 12.  I remember vaguely my dad saying  “all your bills in your wallet should be in denominational order and also facing the same way and if you don’t respect money, how do you expect to make money” maybe that was my own view of the conversation. Or maybe my dad actually said that exactly ?  Either way, It made perfect sense.. in so many ways. It works.

Many years later as I began to explore  the art of feng shui and other asian traditions/culture  of interest, I came across a feng shui phrase:  “A Purse on the Floor is Money Out the Door”   …which I took in the same light as my dads thought … Just one step further.

And that is the reason I NEVER put my handbag on the floor.

Create a great day !

  1. I always have, what little, money is in my wallet in order ; ). A good friend told me years ago not to put purse on floor for the reason you mentioned. Love your blog!
